本課程以「玫瑰保濕乳液＋珍珠光感素顏霜」為主題，帶領學員認識油相、水相、乳化成分與礦物粉體在配方中的不同角色，學習由材料選擇到質地調整的製作思路。
透過導師講解、示範與親手調配，學員將完成1瓶50ml玫瑰輕透水感保濕乳液及1瓶30g珍珠光感素顏霜，比較兩種乳化產品的延展性、稠度及塗抹感，認識如何兼顧日常滋潤與外觀修飾需要。

四、珍珠粉體分散與光澤表現

Lightweight Hydrating Rose Lotion
Damask rose essential oil is known for its restorative properties. Combined with jojoba oil to retain moisture, the lotion has a lightweight, readily absorbed texture, particularly suited to Hong Kong's humid weather. Participants will learn emulsification techniques for combining the oil and water phases and when to add essential oils at a lower temperature to minimise the loss of active ingredients. The finished lotion can be used in place of a makeup primer to help subsequent base makeup sit smoothly and give the skin a soft-focus appearance.
Includes workshop materials and one 50 ml bottle of lotion.

Nano-Pearl Radiance Tone-Up Cream
Natural pearl powder brightens the complexion for everyday wear. The class focuses on dispersing mineral powders without clumping and adjusting the cream's consistency so it spreads easily without leaving a white cast. Within the formulation, participants can adjust the pearl-powder proportion to their skin tone to create a personalised tone-up cream that evens the appearance of the complexion for a natural, no-makeup look.
Includes workshop materials and one 30 g pot of tone-up cream.

Course Introduction
Why do lotions and creams have different textures? How can powders be incorporated into a subtly radiant tone-up cream without clumping or uneven application?

Focusing on rose moisturising lotion and pearl radiance tone-up cream, this workshop introduces the roles of oil and water phases, emulsifying ingredients and mineral powders. Participants will explore formulation decisions from ingredient selection to texture adjustment.

Through instruction, demonstration and hands-on practice, participants will make one 50 ml bottle of lightweight hydrating rose lotion and one 30 g pot of pearl radiance tone-up cream. Comparing their spreadability, consistency and application feel will help learners understand how to combine everyday moisturisation with cosmetic appearance.

Suitable for beginners interested in natural skincare, aromatherapy formulation and emulsification. No previous experience is required.

1. Understanding Lotion and Cream Formulations
- Distinguish the roles of the oil phase, water phase, emulsifiers and other ingredients.
- Explore how formulation affects consistency, spreadability and application feel.
- Compare the purposes and preparation priorities of moisturising lotion and radiance tone-up cream.

2. Selecting Rose Aromatic Ingredients and Plant Oils
- Understand the roles of Damask rose essential oil and jojoba oil.
- Learn about essential-oil quantities, addition conditions and precautions.
- Consider fragrance preferences and skin tolerance, including the option to omit essential oils.

3. 50 ml Lightweight Hydrating Rose Lotion DIY
- Learn ingredient measurement, phase preparation and emulsification.
- Follow the class formulation through heating, mixing and cooling.
- Add essential oils and other ingredients at an appropriate temperature according to their requirements.
- Observe the lotion's uniformity, flow and application feel.

4. Pearl-Powder Dispersion and Radiance
- Understand the specifications and formulation purposes of the pearl powder used in class.
- Learn pre-wetting, dispersion and mixing techniques.
- Compare how different quantities affect radiance, consistency and white cast.
