Candelilla Wax - Candelilla wax

Origin: Northern Mexico, Southwestern USA

Benefits: A natural plant wax with a medium melting point (approximately 68-73°C), it is a common vegan alternative to beeswax. It can emulsify small amounts of water, increasing product hardness and texture stability, and providing a matte finish. It is commonly used in lipsticks, mascaras, and emulsified wax sticks.

Usage: Melt in the oil phase at about 70°C before use. The recommended addition amount is 3%-10%.

Precautions: Its emulsifying ability is limited, and it can only bind a small amount of aqueous phase. When used in combination with other waxes, it can adjust the hardness and gloss of the final product.
